...with H4NNES

In June 2024 Belgian artist Hannes Bossuyt aka. H4NNES released his debut single 'Without Us'. He wrote the songtext in 2021 about his search for hope, reflecting about his experiences of Covid time and a break-up just before. In muziektraining.be he found a musical mentor.

After the release of 'Without Us' H4NNES decided to make more music. Meanwhile he also had written 'Stay Cool', a different kind of song he created together with trance sound producer Eptic Lusion who wanted to make his first track with vocal experimenting. 'Stay Cool' is scheduled to be released at the end of 2024. 

H4NNES grew up as a teenager with his parents who continously listened to old time 60-70 classics. His parents both sang in a choir. In his teens he catched up Dutch hit 'Verdronken Vlinder' released in 1969 from Boudewijn de Groot and wanted to bring the song alive again in his own interpretation. Therefore he met KASK Conservatorium student producer-musician Michiel Van Acker in both their hometown Ghent. Keano Vanlerberghe joined shortly afterwards as guitarist. In november 2024 the threesome found themselves working on 'Verdronken Vlinder' which H4NNES translated into 'Free Sky'.

After having found the right people in the right time on the right track H4NNES decided to drop his solo artist name. He gave birth to his new music project called NEARBY staying close to his lyrics and his personality.
